Falling for Faux Bois

Faux Bois, which translates to "fake wood" in French, is a big new trend for accessories and home decor. Like a person who loves the outdoors yet hates to camp, Faux Bois lends the beauty of nature without its nuisances.

Perhaps the popularity of the Lord of the Rings and the newfound interest in the "fantasy" genre have sparked the Faux Bois trend. I personally love the organic aspect of the style and the "hunting lodge" feel that it lends to any home.
